DISCLAIMER, RELEASE, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT: Chicago Less Lethal and its subsidiaries are not responsible for any physical or material damage resulting from the use or misuse of any of our products, manufactured or retailed.
When you purchase any Chicago Less Lethal manufactured or Less Lethal Defense retailed product you agree to assume complete responsibility for that product including but not limited to: compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, proper and appropriate use, care, and maintenance of product, and any damages caused by the use or misuse of the product. You verify that you are at least 18 years of age and of sound mind and will use the product lawfully.
As the purchaser, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chicago Less Lethal and its subsidiaries for any claims resulting directly or indirectly from the purchase, ownership and use of the product.
WARNING
These products are not for novice use. They are intended to serve as a tool for safety and defense and should be used with extreme care. Using defense products can cause damage, including injury or death. Projectiles are a ricochet hazard; when testing your products exercise extreme caution including the use of safety goggles. Pepper sprays can be affected by wind or air current, and residue from pepper powder can get onto hands and skin; user may be adversely affected if not careful.
SALES /RETURNS / REFUNDS
Chicago Less Lethal and its subsidiaries reserve the right to refuse sales/service to anyone for any reason and are under no obligation to share details of those decisions. All sales are final on launchers, launcher accessories, projectiles, pepper products, MyMedic kits, and Upgrade services.
Chicago Less Lethal and its subsidiaries are not responsible for packages once they are placed in the care of the shipping carrier, including packages that are lost, stolen, or confiscated by Customs or other officials.
SHIPPING SERVICES
All serialized items (e.g. launchers, tasers, etc.) must be received with signature confirmation by the purchaser. Serialized items are packed under surveillance, weighed, and sealed with tamper evident tape before leaving our facility. If you receive a box that has been tampered with- DO NOT accept or sign for the package. It will be returned to us for inspection, and we will re-package and re-ship your items.
